This brilliant, retro-tastic, uber realistic Retro Cassette iPhone cover will have you reliving your youth while protecting your handset from bangs, scrapes and dust.
The fantastic silicon cover is designed to look exactly like an old audio cassette, complete with its own case. But instead of making a mix tape of all your favourite, back in the day tunes, this cassette gives complete protection to your iPhone (which probably already contains all your favourite back in the day tunes).
However not only does this perfectly fitting cover keep safe your handset, but the cassette case, when fully opened, also makes a perfect stand for your phone.
It is the perfect gift for the fan of the latest cool, quirky gadget, or for that iPhone owner who wants a memento of his/her youth. Source: technabob
Earlier this week Chris “Ludacris” Bridges was in Toronto promoting his cognac Conjure. Now available at LCBO’s across Canada, Conjure is a collaborative effort between Luda and reputable brand Birkedal Hartmann. Luda went so far as to fly to Cognac, France and part take in the selection and blending process. Said to have notes of vanilla, apricot and dried prunes and retailing for less than $40 a bottle, Conjure might prove to be a great addition to this weekends BBQ plans or in the parking lot at the next boat ride. Try it and let me know. Just remember to drink responsibly!
You might start to mistake KidKut.com for the ALL THINGS DRAKE site, but don’t get it twisted – we are just proud of our own. With that said, I would like to congratulate Drake on his successful debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200. Selling 447, 000 copies “Thank Me Later” has accomplished the third best sales week of 2010 for a single album, ranking only behind Sade’s “Soldier of Love” and Lady Antebellum’s “I Need You Now”.
Toshiba Libretto W100 Dual-Screen Laptop ($TBA). Looking like the child of some secret Windows-obsessed mad scientist, the Libretto sports two 7-inch multitouch screens crammed into a 1.5 lb. laptop-like form factor, complete with a multi-mode virtual keyboard, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11n wireless networking, an Intel Pentium processor and a built-in webcam
Thankfully we have been experiencing our fair share of HOT weather this year. With that being said, no summer outfit is complete without a dope pair of shades. If you are looking for a new pair, check out Stussy’s Summer 2010 Collection with such styles as Artie, Coltrane and Miles. Select styles are now available at the Stussy Store in Toronto (Richmond Street West). Just do me one favour people, shades are meant for sunshine not dark clubs!?! Please sport them responsibly!
Check out the New Video from The Roots – Dear God 2.0. Lyrically, musically and visually solid. Today, June 16th, we celebrate the 39th birthday of Tupac Shakur (2PAC). Take a moment to reflect on the artist, writer, poet, actor, and activist considered one of the greatest artists of All TIME (According to Rolling Stones Magazine and millions of fans worldwide). A discography spanning 11 albums, more than half released after his death, Pac is the highest selling rap artist with over 75 million albums sold worldwide. It makes you wonder what the game would be like if Pac was still alive? Would there still be an east/west coast divide? Whatever the case may be, we cannot ignore the impact that Pac has had on rap music. He gave a face to the hardships of growing up in the ghetto; amidst all the violence and racism, yet we were able relate to the struggle and bounce to it. Years after his untimely death, his music still echo’s on like a soundtrack to a generation. His music remains relevant..timeless even.
Thanks to my homegirl Darling Nicky (who somehow always manages to have a camera in that purse of hers),
I can share this moment with you that took place the night BEFORE the Stylus DJ Awards Show,
on Sunday May 30th, 2010 at The Mod Club.
